Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park can be explored throughout the year, but the dry season from June to October is generally ideal for comfortable game drives, walking safaris, and enjoying clear mountain views. During this period, drier trails and pleasant conditions make it easier to explore the park’s forests, crater landscapes, and open plains. January and February also offer rewarding conditions, with relatively clear skies, attractive scenery, and opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. From March to May, the long rains transform the park into a lush green landscape, creating beautiful photographic opportunities, although some trails may become muddy. November and December bring shorter rains that refresh the vegetation and attract seasonal birdlife. For travelers seeking a balance of favorable weather, scenic views, and outdoor activities, June to October is an excellent choice, while the greener months offer their own distinctive charm.
